You know that feeling, {{first_name}}—
when your body’s begging for rest,
but your brain’s already writing tomorrow’s to-do list?
That’s where I was this week.
A sniffle. A sore throat. The faint sound of my immune system waving a tiny white flag.

My immune system: “We’re done here.”
“Oh, you must’ve caught something.”
Or maybe it’s that seasonal script —
“Everyone’s getting sick right now. Must be the change in weather.”
Maybe.
Or maybe it’s what happens when your body finally hits pause before you do.
Because if I’m honest, I didn’t just catch a cold —
I finally noticed my own pace.
The constant go-go-go.
The “I’ll rest after this launch” energy.
The twelve tabs open in my brain at all times.
And here’s the truth — even though I know better, I still do it.
I still convince myself I can “push through.”
Still forget that knowing something and living it are two completely different things.
Spoiler: things never calm down. You do.
Your body whispers… until it has to scream. Mine finally did.
That realization didn’t hit me in a meditation or a mindset workshop.
It hit me between sneezes, wrapped in three blankets, watching my to-do list glare at me from across the room.
It’s humbling when your body starts setting the boundaries for you.
But maybe that’s what real power looks like — knowing when to pause instead of waiting to break.
And that’s what this week reminded me —
that rest isn’t a reward for finishing everything.
It’s the reason you’ll have the energy to finish anything.
And the women who learn to rest before they crash?
They’re the ones who build empires that last.
Maybe you’ve felt that too, {{first_name}}— that quiet pull toward ease, even when your ambition’s still sprinting.
So if you’re reading this in your robe, or answering emails from under a blanket,
consider this your reminder: you don’t have to earn your exhale.
You just have to allow it.
Because real strength isn’t in pushing harder —
it’s in knowing how to move through the world with energy, clarity, and ease.
And since I’ve spent this week practicing what I preach (or at least trying to), here’s what’s happening inside The Glow Wellness Club this week:
✨ We just wrapped our 5-Week Hormone Reset with Dr. Amanda Tracy (a chef’s kiss to everyone who joined).
And as I watched the wins and “aha” moments roll in, I realized something:
Healing isn’t loud.
It’s quiet, steady, and sometimes it looks like finally letting your body lead.
I built this space because I got tired of watching powerful women — myself included — burn out in silence.
This is what the next era of wellness looks like — led by women who know their worth isn’t tied to their exhaustion.
So, here’s to the women slowing down — and somehow moving further than ever.
Ease is the new ambition. That’s the flex.
Always has been.
If you’re nodding along right now, you’re not behind — you’re just learning to lead differently.
A reminder from your nervous system’s favorite newsletter,
Genta
P.S. If your body’s been whispering too, come find your rhythm inside The Glow Wellness Club — a space for women leading from energy, not exhaustion. Your next era starts rested. ✨
P.S.S. If this hit home, send it to the friend who needs permission to slow down today.
