A lesson from a street cat in Greece
Hey ,
Recently in Greece, I had a run-in with a local who might just be the most self-regulated being I’ve ever encountered.
She was sunbathing.
On a marble doorstep.
Tucked beside a burnt orange door, fully reclined, like a tiny queen with nowhere to be and all the time in the world to not be there.

She understood the assignment: C’est La Vie
This Greek street cat had zero concerns. No 5AM alarms, no to-do lists, no spiral about whether she “deserves” to rest. Just a stretch, a stare, and a full-body exhale into the moment like it was her job.
And I thought:
There she is.
My nervous system’s role model.
Not because she’s “doing nothing”…
But because she’s doing everything in the energy I want to live in:
✨ Soft.
✨ Certain.
✨ Unbothered.
✨ Fully plugged into her body like it’s her birthright.
Meanwhile, I’ve spent entire years trying to earn that kind of rest.
Waiting until I hit a goal.
Complete a checklist.
Prove I’m “worthy” of slowing down.
But your body?
She’s a cat, not a calendar.
She doesn’t thrive on punishment, hustle, or constant progress reports.
She thrives on rhythm, pleasure, presence.
And that’s exactly what we’re practicing inside The Glow Wellness Club.
Not just wellness as a checklist.
Wellness as a way of being.
Here’s what’s waiting for you inside:
🐟 Weekly meal plans that feel like a love letter to your hormones (no kale guilt, no cauliflower cosplay).
😴 Nervous system-friendly rituals that support real-life women (not robots with smoothie addictions).
🌸 Monthly glow-up challenges that build you (not burn you out).
🏝️ A private community where slow isn’t lazy, it’s sacred.
🛠️ Bite-sized tools for rebuilding your rhythm, energy, and self-trust, without starting over again.
If your body’s been whispering “more please”, this is your sign to give her what she’s been asking for.
This space is built for the woman who’s ready to stop sprinting toward peace and start living like she already belongs to it.
This isn’t a reset.
It’s a return.
To softness.
To steadiness.
To a version of you that doesn’t chase glow—she radiates it.
The cat’s got it.
And so do you.
xx,
Genta
P.S. I passed by again the next day, she was still there. I think she’s running the whole island from that marble step. Goals. 🐾
